Thai Food Ground Beef Green Onion

A friend of mine's church building runs a community garden in my neighborhood.  He was telling me that the basil (which is my FAVORITE herb) was overtaking things and would I like some?  I said of course, just lilliputian did I know he would bring me 2 HUGE BAGS!  So I asked myself "What on earth can I make with this?"  So I remembered this dish I love to lodge at a local Asian fusion eating place, Thai Basil Beefiness.

I had never made Thai Basil Beef, but after a little research I kind of come up up with my version of the recipe.  You know, Thai Basil Beef via W Virginia.  lol  Anyway, it's so scrumptious and the fresh basil makes everything really POP!  I know yous're gonna love it so...

Let's Become Started!

For this Thai Basil Beef Recipe you will demand a few simple ingredients:

  • one lb Ground Beef (you could totally use ground chicken, turkey or pork equally well)
  • i loving cup Carrot Matchsticks
  • 3 Light-green Onions, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic, minced
  • 2/three cup Lite Soy Sauce
  • i Tbsp Chili Paste*
  • ane Tbsp Dearest
  • 1 tsp Ground Giner
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • ii cups Fresh Basil

Asian cooking usually goes fast then a key for success is to have everything ready!

Become ahead and prep your veggies.  I hand cut these match sticks, just I HIGHLY recommend ownership them pre-cut.  lol

Also, reserve some of the green part of the onion to sprinkle over the summit of your Thai Basil Beef.

In a small bowl mix together your soy sauce, chili paste, and honey.

Now place a deep pan over HIGH heat and allow it to go HOT!

One time the pan is hot add the carrots and green onion and sauté for a couple minutes.

Side by side, add the garlic to the pan and sauté until you odor it coming from the pan.

Add the ground meat to the pan and season with the pepper and...

Cook until the meat is brown and no longer pink.

In one case the meat is fully cooked add the soy sauce mixture.

Stir into the meat mixture and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce reduces and thickens.

Now add the fresh basil to the pan and let wilt.

Pinnacle this Thai Basil Beef with some sesame seeds and sliced green onion atop a bed of fluffy white rice and you are gear up to swallow!

This Thai Basil Beef is packed full of flavor.  A petty sugariness, a little spicy, and a lot savor, it's similar the perfect weeknight meal!  I know you lot and your family are gonna love it then get in the kitchen and give it a try tonight!

Thai Basil Beef Recipe

This quick and easy Thai Basil Beef is made in 1 pan with basis beef and a homemade sauce and can be thrown together in less than thirty minutes!

prep time: cook time: full time:

ingredients:

  • 1 lb Ground Beefiness (you could totally use ground chicken, turkey or pork as well)
  • 1 cup Carrot Matchsticks
  • 3 Dark-green Onions, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic, minced
  • two/3 loving cup Lite Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Chili Paste*
  • one Tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Ground Giner
  • 1/2 tsp Footing Black Pepper
  • 2 cups Fresh Basil

instructions:

  1. In a small bowl mix together your soy sauce, chili paste, and honey.
  2. Now place a deep pan over Loftier heat and let it to get HOT!
  3. Once the pan is hot add the carrots and greenish onion and sauté for a couple minutes.
  4. Side by side, add the garlic to the pan and sauté until you smell it coming from the pan.
  5. Add the ground meat to the pan and flavour with the pepper and ground ginger. Melt until the meat is brown and no longer pink.
  6. Once the meat is fully cooked add the soy sauce mixture.
  7. Stir into the meat mixture and cook for ii-3 minutes until the sauce reduces and thickens.
  8. At present add the fresh basil to the pan and let wilt.
  9. Serve over Rice and Savour!
